Who we are
Fanan Display ("we", "us") is a retail display products manufacturer based in Yiwu, China. This policy explains what happens to your information when you visit fanandisplay.com or contact us.
What you send us
When you fill in a quote or contact form, we receive what you type: usually your name, your email address or WhatsApp number, the product, model and quantity you ask about, your message, and any files you attach. We also receive the page you sent it from.
When you message us on WhatsApp, WeChat or by email, we receive that message and your contact details on that service.
What the website records
Our own measurement: the pages you open, how long you stay and how far you scroll, which links, images and buttons you click, and words you search for on the site. To tie these visits together, your browser keeps a random visitor ID that we create (stored in your browser's local storage for about 400 days) and a session ID that resets after 30 minutes of inactivity. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we do not create the visitor ID and do not send this browsing data.
Where you came from: if you arrive from an ad or a tagged link, the site keeps the ad click ID (Google "gclid", "gbraid" or "wbraid", Meta "fbclid") and the campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content) together with the landing page and referring page, in your browser's local storage for 90 days. Visitors who don't come from an ad get the landing page and referring page only. This information is sent to us together with your inquiry, so we can tell which ad or page led to it.
WhatsApp and email buttons: when you click them, we add a short reference code (it looks like #CR-ABC123) to the pre-filled message or email subject, and store the same code with the information above on our server. When your message arrives, the code tells us which page or ad it came from. You can delete the code before sending.
Basic technical data such as IP address and browser type is processed by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, for security and performance.
Advertising tools on this site
Google Ads tag: tells Google Ads that you visited the site after clicking one of our ads, and counts a conversion when you successfully send a quote or contact form. Google may also use your visits to show you our ads later (remarketing).
Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram): records page visits, clicks on our WhatsApp, email and WeChat buttons, and successful quote or contact forms. Meta uses this to measure our ads, decide who sees them, and build audiences for them.
Both tools load from Google's and Meta's servers, which see your IP address and browser details and may link your visit to your Google or Meta account under their own privacy policies.
Information we share with ad platforms
To measure which ads lead to real inquiries and orders, we may send Meta and Google the ad click ID from your visit, the type of event (for example a qualified inquiry or an order) and, for orders, the order value. Where we do, your email address and phone number are sent only as SHA-256 hashes.
If you have ordered from us, we may upload your email address and phone number, hashed the same way, to Meta and Google so that they stop showing our ads to you.
We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Cookies and browser storage
The Google Ads tag and the Meta Pixel set cookies, for example _gcl_au (Google) and _fbp and _fbc (Meta) on our domain, and their own cookies on Google's and Meta's domains. These are used for ad measurement and advertising.
Our own measurement and ad source tracking use your browser's local storage (corai_vid, corai_sess, corai_attr, corai_wa_token), not cookies. They stay on your device until they expire or you clear them.
How to opt out
Block or clear cookies and site data for fanandisplay.com in your browser settings. Clearing site data also deletes the visitor ID and ad source information described above.
Turn on Do Not Track in your browser to stop our own visitor ID and browsing measurement. (Google and Meta decide for themselves whether to honor this signal.)

How we use your information
To reply to your inquiries, prepare quotes, arrange samples or showroom visits, and fulfil orders.
To understand which pages, ads and campaigns bring inquiries, so we can improve the site and decide where to advertise.
Third-party services
The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. If you contact us through WhatsApp, WeChat or email, your message is also handled under that service's privacy policy. Google and Meta handle the data their tools collect under their own privacy policies.
Data retention
We keep inquiry correspondence for as long as we need it to serve you and to meet legal or accounting requirements, then delete it. Information kept in your browser expires as described above.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email info@fanandisplay.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
